The Road to 2047: Final Thoughts
The Odisha Budget 2026-27 isn't just a list of numbers; it's a strategic roadmap. By balancing massive infrastructure projects like the Atal Expressway with direct public benefits like the abolition of Professional Tax, the government is attempting to build a "Viksit Odisha" that is both industrial and inclusive. While the rising debt remains a point of caution, the focus on semiconductors, healthcare, and women’s welfare via Subhadra Yojana marks a significant leap toward modernization.
